Review: Moon Cursed (Nightcreature #10) by Lori Handeland

4 Stars
Pages: 352
Quote: "Agus gealladh dhusta, luaidh."
"'I will never let anyone harm ye while I am here' " Page 186
This book didn't have as much fanfare as Handeland's other Nightcreature books. Not that it's a specifically a bad thing or says anything bad about the book in general, it just is.

This is the tenth installment in the Nightcreature's series, and as the 9th book for told, Handeland is definitely branching out from the normal perimeters of her series. You could kind of see it in her last novel, that the next few book would be quite in line with the others, and maybe she should have done so slower instead of jumping in, but she did have the 9th book to back her, and never the less the book really did live up to Handeland's usual writing style.

This book started off at a slow pace but picked up interest quickly with the wonderful setting and interesting characters.

On first glimpse of Kris, our main lady, the world that pops up is cynical, she was very hot not to believe in any kind of supernatural. Which makes one wonder why she is so hot to call it fake.

Liam, our main man, lives up to every aspect of our authors usual in men, devastatingly sexy, smart, and well, has a secret. Doesn't everyone?

The book is very straight forward, while still leaving a few mystery's to entertain the readers, as well as quick, if sometimes shocking character developments.

One thing that need mentioning is Edward, yes we do get a glimpse of our old monster hunter, though he doesn't quite seem the same. But we do get more details on what is happening to him and his group of hunters.

This book is a very good on day read and a must read for new and old Handeland/Nightcreature's fans.
