Review: Seduce Me in Dreams (Three Worlds #1) by Jacquelyn Frank

3 Stars
Series: Three Worlds
Author: Jacquelyn Frank
Pages: 336
I received this book on Goodreads First Reads.

I have to say one reasons I entered this ARC giveaways was because I was a big fan of her Nightwalkers Series. But this book...though I really did love the world she created in general, I couldn't help feeling...that it was slow, why I don't know, but there was definitely something missing in it for me.

Bronse Chapel, 'the commander of a specialized unit of the Interplanetary Militia', I found was very, well to say the least he held high appeal to me, total alpha male, and we see him first carrying Trick his wounded team member across the very dangerous desert planet. So hero, leader, dangerous, sexy, who could want more from our main man? Also, he is getting dream warnings from a 'Chosen One', Ravenna, but not just a Chosen One, she is the leader, they are a group of people with special gifts. She knows something bad is going to happen with Brones and his team, and will help him, but first he has to help the Chosen Ones. And not that I didn't like her but I didn't love her, and felt I couldn't really connect with her. But I do think her and Bronse was very suited for each other, they were both very strong and dedicated in there own ways.

It has already been mentioned, and speculated that it may be cleared up after final editing, that there is a lot of information that is being given out, in the beginning of the book. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I felt it kind of distracted me from the story in general, and made it slower.

Also, the names and nicknames, I didn't find that to tedious, but it did kind of bother me. And the switching perspectives of the team. One moment it was Bronse, then Lasher/Masin, ect. I didn't, not like learning about them, they did intrigue me, and they didn't switch to many times but I have never much liked book that switched to much.

Another thing I am curious about is Domino, one of the Chosen Ones. I hope he has his own book he really intrigued me since I first got his description, black and white hair? Sounds hot to me :p

Altogether I really did like the book, and I definitely recommend it to you Jacquelyn Frank lovers out there. I do think I will try to pick up the second book when it comes out, to see what happens.
