Review: Micah (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter #13) by Laurell K. Hamilton

3 Stars
Series: Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter
Author: Laurell K. Hamilton
Pages: 288
Read Count: 3
In this thirteenth Anita Blake novel Anita is filling in unexpectedly for fellow federal marshal, vampire executioner and animator, Larry Kirkland, on a zombie raising of a witness for the FBI.

Only she isn't going alone, since she gained the ardeur and has to feed it regularly she is bringing along, boyfriend and Nimir-Raj or leopard king, Micah.

This novel was very short compared to all the other Anita Blake novels before it, but ever since Micah was first introduced I have been a big fan so though short, I liked it.

It is the first time they have ever really been alone, no Nathaniel, Jean-Claude, nothing. just the two of them. And of course when this is mentioned Anita starts with her usual ways getting angry for, what I could see, no reason.

Other than Anita being her usual self I did like the novel it is pretty fast paced and to the point with the sexual scenes that are becoming norm for the novels.

As with the last book I would recommend this novel to anyone who is a fan of the later Anita Blake books.
