Review: Bullet (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter #19) by Laurell K. Hamilton

3 Stars
Pages: 356
Read Count: 2

In this nineteenth installment of the Anita Blake series, Anita, her men--and the rest of the paranormal community find out that sometimes it takes a lot more than they thought to kill a nightmare....

This novel was definitely more what I was looking for with the last book, Flirt; it was longer of course which means we have way more plot to work with instead of getting pretty much straight to the point.

I felt we learned a lot in this novel about what might be to come in the future but also characters--her men and others--that I felt was kind of being neglected for a while.

One word. Richard. Yes, he is in this one and that great revelation I was waiting for him to have? I think it happened, yeah; I think it did but I am not quite sure how long this is going to last, so, *crosses fingers*.

We also get more Asher, the Harlequin, tigers and so much more; like I said plot and the building work for future plots.

One thing that really bothered me about this book was everything that went down with Haven; that really made me mad and I thought it was a very bad decision. Even though we really don't know much about Haven except the basics I really liked him and was very sad at the direction things went concerning it in this novel.

Finally off to read the newest Anita Blake novel,
Hit List!!

I would recommend this to anyone who has liked the last couple of Anita Blake novels.
