Review: Grave Peril (The Dresden Files #3) by Jim Butcher

5 Stars
Grave Peril
Series: The Dresden Files
Author: Jim Butcher
Mass Market Paperback
Pages: 436
Read Count: 2
I really enjoyed this third installment of The Dresden Files. In it Harry Dresden, a wizard PI that sometimes works with the police, along with a new character Michael Carpenter, a righteous man and a Knight of the Cross, are fighting the barrage of ghost that has suddenly been stirred up for reasons unknown.

Soon thought it becomes all to clear that someone wants Harry gone--only problem with that is that Harry has made quite a few enemies.

Another awesome installment to this series! I have to say that if possible I enjoyed this novel even more than the last. We get mentions of new characters, sightings of old ones and like with the last two books a whole bunch of mystery and action.

In this novel we also get more of the red vampires or more specifically Bianca St. Claire whom we met in the first book. And we all know that she and Harry's last meeting did not go well at all, so it was very interesting to see how this played out.

I am sad to say that there was no Gentleman Johnny Marcone in this novel though Karrin Murphy was in it some and Susan Rodriguez. We also get to see some of the Nevernever and meet Harry's Godmother, Lea. And was that ever interesting!

I highly recommend not only this third book to anyone who has picked up the first two but also would recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a good paranormal/urban fantasy series.
