Implementing Blog Ideas

I have a lot of ideas for my blog. I am sure all Bloggers do no matter what they blog about they want to get the people who are interested in the same things as them--their followers and interact with them in some way. To make there blog a place more people that love said topics will visit and love.

The problem with having all these ideas for the blog is implementing them. Really off the top of my head I can think of at least two things that I really want to do on my blog. But time is a big factor in this because most ideas, no matter how simple or easy they seem to add to the blog and get off the ground; they usually aren’t.

Like my Weekly Re-read. No one participates in this but me--which I know of mind you! If there are people who are re-reading these books with me hopefully you will love this idea! But it was not created for people to read with me to be truthful; I wanted to re-read books so I made it a feature. This feature and the commitment to have it up every week has made my re-read book stack huge with finished novels. At first I was a little late getting them up but--I had to get it up because it was a feature on my blog. I needed that deadline and pressure to make the time to pick up books that I loved and re-read them.

Now I want to share this with other readers if you do not do so already, I want to make my Weekly Re-read, a Weekly Meme on Full Moon Bites. Yes, I know wouldn’t that be awesome? Have it hosted here and a linky so people who read and review said week’s novel can post the link to their review and everyone can hop from review to review and see other readers’ opinions of a book they themselves have just read.

I have not heard of anyone doing this--though they might have, so if you are kudos to you!

Thing is I know it will take a lot for it to get off ground which is why I am taking so long in 'implementing' it.

Really now, how many people have time to Re-read a novel a week? Or for that matter it may be your first time reading said-re-read- that’s okay you would all be welcome to come read along and link as well! But most people don't have the time to do re-reads much less one a week--realistically I know that I probably don't either but I make time even if I have to read in advance.

The Dresden Files series? Already have my Re-reads done along with reviews ready to go up leading to the release of my review on the new novel Ghost Story. They wont be up though until the week they are being 're-read'.

But I have gotten a little off track now. The point is I understand that a lot of people might not participate in this at first--maybe none at all and I know people if they do participate might not get it done in one week time frame, hopefully said linky would be open all the time though so you could still link.

Another idea I am currently in the process of 'implementing' to Full Moon Bites is on the Free Online Fiction page. I have really slacked on this. I know and I am sorry for that, Zombies but I am back on and picking up stories and hopefully will have some more writers who offer Free Male/Male Online Fiction on the list soon. I also want to put categories and short descriptions of said works so people will have an idea of what it is before they click and go to read the story. I have buttons made as well, just not up yet.

So these are two off the top of my head; what do you think, would you participate or like something like this on the blog?

Do you have ideas you want to use for your blog but have yet to implement them?

Note: This is my blog I can use the ' ' on any words and as many times as I want, thank you. :)
