What’s Your Ending?

I am in the process of read the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning, just finished Dreamfever (LOVED IT!) and I am starting the next soon; since I am reading them I have been thinking a lot about book endings lately, especially of books in series.

In the Fever books the endings are in your face, turn-the-page-there must-be-more-how-could-there-not-be?!

I admit, in a way I like this it really makes me want to pick up the next book without delay, but at the same time I feel that ‘OMG, that seriously can’t be it!’

I have read other books in series that are not like this, they come to a nice ending, not answering all the questions and leaving you with more, but at the same time making you feel that book in the series is actually over, where are the Fever books feel like it is not over and it should all be one book, if that makes sense.

So I find myself questioning, which do I like more? I have no idea, have I ever read another series that left me hanging like this? I do not think I have.

Which do you like? Do you want that major turn-the-page-there must-be-more-how-could-there-not-be?! Or do you like the nice endings that still leave you wanting more and you know more is coming in the next book?
