Club Dead
Series: Sookie Stackhouse, #3
Author: Charlaine Harris
Genre: Paranormal Romance, Vampires, Urban Fantasy, Mystery,
Mass Market Paperback
Pages: 274
Read Count: 2
All of this is told to her by Area 5 Sheriff—Eric Northman, Bill’s boss, who though he knew Bill was working on a project and who for did not know what it was.
With Bill missing who better to get some answers than someone who can be around the vampires, were’s and humans who may be either responsible or know something than a telepath?
SO with the help from someone Eric roped into taking her—a were, Alcide Herveaus—she is off to Club Dead to mingle and find some answers, of course as with the last time Sookie was just supposed to ‘listen’, things don’t go exactly to plan.
As with the last book in this series, I really enjoyed this one as well.
Things progress very nicely, we get a very interesting (tall, sexy, werewolf) new character Alcide Herveaus. He seems very complex really but there was definitely attraction between he and Sookie so that may com up again in future plots.
Bill was not in this book much though he is in a good bit of it, Eric and Alcide is in a bigger portion. This did not bother me at all—sorry Bill—especially after we learn some of the things going on.
Altogether I really liked it and I can not wait to pick up the next and see what the author has come up with for the plot and what may happen with Sookie, Eric or Bill—Or even Alcide.
I would recommend this novel to anyone who loves a good paranormal/supernatural read.
