Book Description from Goodreads
"Harper Connelly heads to Doraville, North Carolina, to find a missing boy one of several teenage boys who have disappeared over the last five years. And all of them are calling for Harper. She finds them, buried in the frozen ground. Soon Harper will learn more than she cared to about the dark mysteries and long-hidden secrets of Doraville knowledge of the dead that makes her next in line to end up in an ice-cold grave."

In this third novel of the author’s Harper Connelly Series, Harper and Tolliver, her manager, goes to Doraville North Carolina to find a missing boy-- one of several who have disappeared and comes along the grave of them all and the murder isn’t done just yet.

I have to admit that though I really liked this one especially because we get some relationship in the series now, I have to also admit to wishing it had had just a little more suspense, and well of course love scene details.

Overall though as above I did enjoy it, we get to learn more about our two main characters as the books unfold and as there is only one more book I am highly looking forward to getting to it. We also get some of the characters from previous books in this one as well such as Xylda—the physic—and Manfred her grandson and sort of manager like Tolliver is for Harper.

I really enjoyed Manfred’s character in this book and the last he is exciting and well, kind of exotic. I do wonder if we will see him more in the next novel.

There is a good bit of mystery in this one because you know it could go either way and have no way of knowing who could be the murders in the town. And like with the other books this one lived up to them, if not exceeded them in this area.

I would recommend this novel to anyone who read and liked the previous novels in the series.
