Review: Taming Taylor (Romps & Rakehells #3) by Madelynne Ellis

3 Stars
Taming Taylor
Series: Romps & Rakehells #3
Author: Madelynne Ellis
Genre: Ménage, F/M/F, Historical,
Publisher: Ai Press
Pages: 46
In Taming Taylor, the third novelette of Madelynne Ellis’s  Romps & Rakehells series we meet Taylor Hulme, Verity Quinn and Amelia Percival.

Taylor is at a party and has brought both of his lady loves, of course they do not know about each other, or so he thought until he goes into his room to find them both waiting for him.

As punishment they decide he must prove that he can please them both and leave neither wanting. But by morning Taylor is more convinced than ever that he needs them both, as they both satisfy a different side of him and have a place in his heart, the only thing is, will the ladies agree to share or will they make him choose?

I have to say that while I did like this third novelette in this series that I did not like it nearly as much as the last one. Mostly I think that is because while I like F/F I am not nearly as big a fan as I am of M/M. I do believe this is the first F/M/F story I have ever read actually.

So while I liked it and the story is good, I personally would much prefer two guys than two girls.

Verity Quinn is much more take charge than doesn’t pause to punish Taylor when she thinks he deserves it.

Amelia Percival is more submissive of the two and pretty much follows their lead.

Taylor is a nice mixture of take charge and submissive himself, which is probably why he liked each woman so much, they both complete a part of him.

One thing I do wonder that is never brought up again that I can remember is where did Branwell Locke go?

He was who Taylor was sharing a room with, but of course Tayler and the ladies keep the room occupied all night and a good portion of the morning I know…. So where did he go?

Also, Branwell Locke is actually the man from the first novelette Capturing Cora. So that was neat. Was this before he got with Cora Reeve? The same night?

I suppose overall it does not matter to the plot of this story but I do wonder.

Altogether it was a nice short erotic novelette and I look forward to reading more by this author and hopefully a fourth Romps & Rakehells novelette!
