Book Description:

A world shrouded in mystery and intrigue, the Sisterhood of Epione must not be exposed.

A Shape-shifting nymph, Ariadne, is tasked with keeping the truth of her group’s existence and their ancient mysteries far out of reach of an American archeologist and his troublemaking son.  When forgotten and forbidden passions are awakened, Ariadne is forced to make a choice—fall in line and continue to be overrun and pushed down by the sisterhood, or follow her heart and put everyone’s lives in danger.

Can Ariadne have the man she loves or will the pressure and secrets of the past keep her from her heart’s desire?

The Nymph’s Labyrinth was the perfect blend of mythology, suspense and love.

I have always been a huge fan of anything Greek mythology and I admit the first thing that really caught my attention about this book was the lovely book cover. Yes, I judge books by their covers and a alluring book cover will snag my attention every time. So kudos to the cover designer! ;)

Ariadne was a curious mixture of strong and meek  From the very start you can tell she is very strong but she does not show it outwardly and instead allows others, mostly Kat the leader of the Sisterhood of Epione to run all over her.

However when
she realizes that she can have freedom after a night with Beau, the American archeologist, she starts to show her strength more outwardly. Even when it could mean trouble for her when Beau's son is dying she deliberately goes against Kat to help him.

Of course she was also in love with him, even if she could not let herself truly admit it because she feared the curse.

Beau was just trying to prove himself right, that he had found the Labyrinth, and his carrier depends on it when Ariadne comes along to make trouble for him on Kat's orders. More so his teenage son Kaden who he has not seen for about 10 years is dropped off with no notice. He is floundering and weary when he meets Ariadne, but the attraction is immediate for them both.

We get a few hot sex scenes but nothing that would make me classify the book as erotica romance  more just adult paranormal romance.

One thing I did not like had to be Kaden's mother, Lynda. Honestly I just do not see what Beau ever saw in her and she made me mad with the way she was toward Kaden.

Overall The Nymph’s Labyrinth was an exciting and intriguing first book of The Nymph series by Danica Winters and I look forward to more!

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great paranormal romance with mythology.

4 Moons!
